Just to find food to eat here in sarajevo, you took your life in your hands if you lived on the front line as these people did.
The woman who is bending down is the mother of Admir. His older brother is next to her.
This is a bombed school in Sarajevo.
The playground is now a grave yard.
US troops in Bosnia
I brought Dusko to the United States for medical care after
he was wounded in the war.
Dusko is a Serb but helped the Croatians in the war.
Because of that, Dusko can't go home to his country.
Not only was he wounded but he might never see his family again.
The effects of war can be felt for a life time.
This picture was taken during bombing all around.
This little boy is mentally challenged & afraid of everything.
