The Roses Project
THE ROSES PROJECT is concerned with helping people and places "bloom" again, especially in third world countries. We have brought the wounded from Bosnia to the United States for medical treatment which helped saved lives. We send medical and schools supplies to small villages in Bosnia and South America to help rebuild communities. We also brought disabled children out of an orphanage in Croatia, finding new families for them in the United States so they could have a new life with a loving family.

In Mexico we brought people to the United States that lost limbs so they could be fitted with artificial arms to help them live more independently.

During the Bosnian war we helped wounded soldiers who were in hospitals in Bosnia and Croatia to come to the United States to have special medical care to help save their life.

In the Gulf war we helped retarded children put on Gas Masks during the bombings.

We are especially concerned with children in third world countries who are disabled and are in need of medical treatment. We try and find people in need help when ever possible.

THE ROSE
JAN 7, 1919 – FEB 11, 2001
The Roses Project was named after my mother Rosemary. She opened the door for me to want to go out and help others. She was always interested in my brother Bob Quinn and I. She wanted us to be happy in what ever we did. I found my happiness in helping others “bloom” again.

My mother died suddenly and I could not be there with her to say goodbye. We were oceans apart. I was in Maine and my mother in California. God was calling her home. She was the Rose… a beautiful Rose that had so many different colors and stood sturdy in the wind.

In her memory I hope I can help many people before I join her in Heaven.
